Videoconferenced CME
Beginning with a pilot 1996 project, Dalhousie CME has taken a leadership position in the provision of physician-education via videoconferencing. In 2005/06 at least 35 videoconferences will be provided to 36 Nova Scotia communities. Program content, format and objectives are determined by local practitioners in consultation with CME.
This program is funded by Doctors Nova Scotia, with the Nova Scotia Department of Health covering telecommunication costs via the Nova Scotia Telehealth Network. Opportunities for industry support of individual topics are available.
